Hafren Dirt Bike Club or HDBC was formed in 1979 by a group of off road motorcycle enthusiasts who used to live in and around the Mid Wales town of Llanidloes. The club was formed in order to try and set up some form of practice facility for the large numbers of riders who were into both motocross and enduro in the area.

We started off with our own MX practice track, and then went onto running a few small MX events, Hare & Hounds and multi lap fun Enduro’s. After many years of talking about it, we eventually ran our 1st BEC round in 1996, since then we have run numerous BEC rounds, and more recently a EEC round in 2005, and the pinnacle the successful WEC round run last year (2008), we also run Trailbike Rallies which cater for a totally different rider.
